Paul’s Place’s secure donation page is hosted by Blackbaud. Information that the donor provides – including name, contact information, donation amount, and other comments – is encrypted and sent to Paul’s Place’s Raiser’s Edge database. Credit card numbers are encrypted and sent to Blackbaud Merchant Services, where online donations are processed and the credit card numbers are stored securely. Authorized Paul’s Place staff receive email notification of online donations and have login access to the Raiser’s Edge database in order to acknowledge gifts, maintain financial records, and communicate with Paul’s Place supporters.
Selling, sharing, and use of donor information
We do not sell or share personal information (including contact and donation information) of people in our database with other organizations. We may forward or post information from other organizations in emails sent to people in our database, but without revealing our database list to those organizations. Donors are listed in our annual report and other publicity materials. Donors have the right to remain anonymous.
