Paul’s Place respects the privacy of visitors to our website, www.paulsplaceoutreach.org. This privacy policy describes how we collect information through this website and how we use it.
Signing up for Paul’s Place communications
If you sign up for Paul’s Place communications (e-newsletter, mailings, etc.) via the website, we will store your name and contact information in our database in order to communicate with you about Paul’s Place.

We seek to maintain accurate records of Paul’s Place supporters’ contact information. You can send your updated information to development@paulsplaceoutreach.org or call us at 410-625-0775 x 122. - Opt out
If you wish to stop receiving e-communications from Paul’s Place, click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Paul’s Place email. You may also send an email indicating your preferences regarding electronic or print communications to development@paulsplaceoutreach.org or call us at 410-625-0775 x 122.
Online donations
Paul’s Place’s secure donation page is hosted by Blackbaud. Information that the donor provides – including name, contact information, donation amount, and other comments – is encrypted and sent to Paul’s Place’s Raiser’s Edge database. Credit card numbers are encrypted and sent to Blackbaud Merchant Services, where online donations are processed and the credit card numbers are stored securely. Authorized Paul’s Place staff receive email notification of online donations and have login access to the Raiser’s Edge database in order to acknowledge gifts, maintain financial records, and communicate with Paul’s Place supporters.
Selling, sharing, and use of donor information
We do not sell or share personal information (including contact and donation information) of people in our database with other organizations. We may forward or post information from other organizations in emails sent to people in our database, but without revealing our database list to those organizations.
Donors are listed in our annual report and other publicity materials. Donors have the right to remain anonymous. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact us at development@paulsplaceoutreach.org or 410-625-0775 x 122 or check the “I would like this gift to remain anonymous” box on the Paul’s Place secure donation page.
Website statistics
Paul’s Place uses Google Analytics to analyze traffic to our website. We use the data gathered to improve the content of our website and its usefulness to visitors. We do not collect information that personally identifies you through Google Analytics. We do have the ability to track aggregate data about visitors to our website. Google Analytics uses cookies and IP addresses to provide this information.
- Cookies
Cookies are data text files placed on a user’s computer when a user visits a website. Cookies track how visitors interact with a website. Through Google Analytics’ use of cookies, we can track such information as the number of visitors to pages within the website, what times people visit the website, and which sites refer visitors to the Paul’s Place website. We cannot control the content or privacy policies of other websites, nor can we control what information these websites collect. The Paul’s Place privacy policy applies solely to our own website. Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Transmitting information over the internet does carry some risk, however, and we cannot guarantee the safety of information you submit.
