Give Monthly

Your gift makes a big difference.

Your gift will make a meaningful difference for children and adults – giving them hope and the resources they need to become stable and self-reliant and to achieve their full potential.

Your donation will provide a steady, reliable stream of support so that, together, we can help families respond to immediate needs and find long-term solutions. Help us improve the quality of lives in Southwest Baltimore.

Donating monthly is Hassle-Free

As a monthly donor, you will enjoy:

  • secure and hassle free monthly donations;
  • automatic payments from your credit card;
  • an annual giving statement by mail (i.e. one receipt for tax purposes);
  • the ability to increase, decrease, or stop your donation at any time; and
  • the knowledge that your donation is being put to work immediately in your local community.

When Paul's Place Can Count On You, Families in Southwest Baltimore Can Count on Us!

Poverty, homelessness, unemployment, inadequate education, addiction, crime, and violence…children and adults in Southwest Baltimore face these and other adversities every day of their lives. When families are on their own, these burdens can become too heavy to bear, immobilizing, and isolating.

When Paul’s Place can count on you, families in Southwest Baltimore can count on us!

Your donation changes lives

Here are a few examples of how your donation every month can change lives:

  • Showers, laundry, and free clothing for one adult experiencing homelessness ($11/month)
  • Emergency assistance to prevent food insecurity, utility shut-offs, eviction, or other one-time expenses for one family in financial crisis ($21/month)
  • Health screenings and medical case management for one adult with a chronic health condition ($42/month)
  • Job search and career development support for one unemployed adult ($83/month)

Paul’s Place depends on the generosity of our in-kind donors to provide our essential programs and services. There are a variety of ways for individuals, families, and organizations to give in-kind to Paul’s Place. We’ll seek out YOUR interests and combine them with our needs!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adjusted some of our donation practices to ensure the safety of our guests, donors, and staff. Please reach out to ensure your donation meets our updated guidelines. We are still accepting donations of gently-used in-season clothing and new hygiene items. We are particularly in need of men’s items.

What you need to know

Our Tax ID Number

Our tax identification number may be required when you recommend a grant from your donor advised fund, donate distributions from your IRA, or designate Paul’s Place as a beneficiary in your estate plans. It is 52-1372359.

Planned Giving

Through planned giving, individuals are able to arrange gifts to be made at a future date, helping to support the long-term goals of Paul’s Place. Planned giving may also provide tax benefits to you now, to your estate and even provide income throughout your lifetime.

Donating From your IRA

The charitable IRA rollover may be a great option for you if you pay federal income tax on unneeded, but required distributions from your traditional IRA, even if you do not itemize deductions on your taxes. Here’s how it works: once you reach 70 1/2 years, you can make gifts of up to $100,000 per year to qualified charitable organizations, like Paul’s Place, directly from your IRA.
